"Are the WA lines designed to turn over heavy tips? "

Depends on the NextCast line and rod. The WA45 5/6 on a 7125 doesn't seem to like much grainage on the tip. It does extremely well with a 6/7 Airflo Delta Spey replacement Sink 3 or 7 cut back to 9 feet at 50g. I run 10' T10 on a 7130 with the WA45 6/7. Like Johnny said, the 8/9's do pretty darn well with heavier tips.

I'll second that as long as it's the 45' or older 55' WA, But ideally I find the 125-130grn tips work the best, while still delivering a moderate sized weighted fly on my 9wt 14'3 rod.

    Great lines!
