Do any of you know anything about these? I'm considering buying a 4 or 5wt online, but I've never actually handled one to know if I'll like it. Thanks!

ChadK Hi, Allstar has a booth at the Seattle Sportsmans Show if you are interested. I ment to stop and check out their rods but got distracted by a casting demonstration. If you have time the show might be a good place for you to really check out some rods. I saw a few customers that were being allowed to cast test rods in the pool. Gary's Fly Shoppe is also there. This guy is very helpful and has St Croix blanks for sale. Great rod builder out of Lake Stevens I think. Hope this helps a bit. Flyfisher Frank :HAPPY

Thanks for the info. I didn't make it out to the show this year though.

Did anyone who went get a chance to see any of the Allstar fly rods?
