Alpine Lake

    Long time no post, here is one of my recent trips. North of Dog, many of you probably have fished this lake. Packed our tubes in, which was the right choice as the fish were hanging out in the "transitional water." Took us half a day to get dialed in, had to fish a caddis emerger slow to pick up the cutts. Tasty little guys...:)

    Skeeters weren't too bad, beautiful lake with a lot of potential. Even the smaller fish had little heads and big bellies, shaped like footballs.

    Deer is a couple miles out of Leech lake trailhead I think...not deer.
