Not a fly per se but makes a nice addition to your bugger etc. This is a way of attaching beads that I tried out this weekend. Doesn't seem to compromise line strength, but to be sure I went up to 3X. Landed some fish on it with no issues. I broke one off but the line broke between the hook and the bead, not the hitch. What I like is no toothpicks are involved, you can move beads up or down the line, but they won't slide off. Use a bobbin threader to make it easier to thread small beads. Also you can take them off or switch without taking the hook off- try that with a toothpick!
