    for my rather large 14ft cataraft, I use a 15lb mushroom plus another 6-7lbs of chain wrapped around the stalk. Nearly enough for most waters, but I will add another 5lbs of chain sometime soon. Chain is nice because I can hear it clanking when it slips or is dragging.
