Fished Burke from shore this afternoon figuring I'd catch the fish after chronies along the edge. Main lake didn't have much activity but I did find a back bay that had rising fish. Fished a green krystal flash pupa 12 inches under an indicator and it was surprising to watch the fish swim under the indicator and then the indicator try to follow them. They were jumpers and fun to fish for on a 4wt light line rod.

Ain't it troubling when the dang bobber keeps sinking? ;) Thanks for the report.

Fished burke today with my dad, uncle and friend skip. We ended up with about 60 fish between the four of us. The fishing was not great but could have been worse. Average fish were 10" to 14". Caught a couple pushing 18" though. Weather was great and had a good time.
