Another Rod Off the Bench

    Just finished another rod. It's a nice 7'2" 2/2 with a nice little cork insert reel seat. It's now time to start on a nice summer steelhead rod.

    Very nice! Love the translucent wraps and the single/double on the tips is an excellent feature!
    Reel seat and stipping guide are winners also!

    Thanks for the replies. The reel seat is one made by Bellinger a few years back. It is spalted maple with a cork insert and hardware that I blued.

    Michael,

    This rod now resides in Japan where I believe it's purpose is to chase cherry trout. I have only seen pictures of these fish, but maybe some day I'll be lucky enough to land a couple myself.
