Any books you'd suggest for a gift for a kayaker?

Hi guys, my dad does a lot of kayaking in the Puget Sound, and sometimes up around Vancouver Island, and his birthday is coming up. I'm wondering if any of you have read any books about paddling (not necessarily only kayaking) that you've enjoyed, whether it be a biography, fiction, or whatever, so long as it loosely relates to paddling.
    Thanks.

Get him a book or guide about paddling up the west coast of vancouver island. there should be a few available and it will inspire him for sure!

Or a subscription to PADDLER or a magazine of the sort.

Hope that helps, sry i dont have a specific title for ya!

You might want to consider charts instead of books. I think for many of us charts and maps read more like books than abstract lines on a piece of paper.
