Whoesale Sports generally has good people working in their archery shops. Don't know if one in your area.

Might be a place to start.

Not exactly south but the knock point in mountlake terrace is the real deal. I've got friends that come from the south when they need something.Pretty sure they have a web site.

I can second the appreciation for the Nock Point. Cabelas sold me a bow that was way over my ability, a 50 pound long bow, for targets. Being naive I brought it home and struggled with it. My wife wanted to get into archery also. So we went to KP and Bill got us two new long bows, 30 and 35 lb and I took the 50 back to Cabelas. We've had a basic lesson and we're now both enjoying our new bows. The point of this is that the folks at KP are very helpful and the store and range is a great asset.

Marty, if you come up this way, let me know. It would be nice to visit if you have the time...
