Hit the beach today from 6:30 till 2:00. Hooked five silvers and landed four. Three of the fish I caught and the one I lost were very nice fish in the 6-7lb range. I caught a chrome bright hen that was covered in sea lice and fatter then a pony keg with fins. This fish had never missed a meal. Short and stocky with big shoulders. My kind of girl! The other fish was a small 3 lber. It is nice to see some larger fish showing up. I think yesterdays rain really helped the bite today. I bonked a hooked nose hatchery buck for the bbq.
All fish caught on chartruese clousers.
