Was on the beach just before daybreak, which allowed me to watch an amazing sunrise. (THe cruise ships going past at dark are pretty awesome too). Fished till about 10 am with not so much as a bullhead. For about an hour or so in the early part of the morning there was fish jumping all around me but I could not entice them with any of my offerings. Now that I've actually made the plunge and fished a beach, I'm determined to get an understanding of all this. Looks like I'll be back this week before work.

Mumbles and I were out from 6-9 on a northern area 9 beach. Saw a few jumpers far out and a gear guy hook and lose a large fish at the beach. No strikes/follows/swirls, or any other type of fishy activity for either of us however. I agree though, it was a beautiful morning.
