This was my Great Aunt's Heddon rod built, I believe in the late 30's or early 40's. It hadn't been strung up since at least the late 60's and I figured it was about time it saw a little action. Although the searun cutt' I found yesterday is a small one, I believe my aunt would have been proud! I caught only one more cutthroat a little later in the day, but ran across these bear tracks to help top off a special time on the river yesterday. The reel is a Youngs from the mid 30's.
Neat! looks like a heddon #11 or #13, haven't been into bamboo for a while. Is it a 9'? and does is says something like 2 1/2f? RMB
