I know of one guide who got a ticket in the mail for posting a photo on the internet holding a wild steelhead out of the water.

I've also caught wind of a proposal in the pipeline to apply the same rules to wild trout!

    meet cletus.

cletus likes streamers over 8" and breaking 12 lb. flouro.

he also likes long walks on the beach as well as stealing nymph rigs and indicators.

but after a month and a half and 5-6 hookups, i finally put him in the net!!!!!!!!!

Great fish! But seriously... where do you get your wardrobe? ... Comicon?

What hell, if you must dress like that to catch trout that size ... I'll do it !! So much for the blending in with the background approach...

    :):)

    (Damn that's a big fish!)

It's got black in it and the color green. He probably blends in with the Trees in that State. I usually wear a bright orange T Shirt when I go fishing. Keeps from getting shot.

Well you got me started tying big streamers. Down the rabbit hole I go. Do you mind saying anything about your 9" sculpin fly? (aka where the hell does the hook go? The head? The tail?)

i fish alot some with just a stinger and some with 2 hooks. i actually lost the streamer i got this guy on with a super shitty false cast so i cant post a pic. it was a olive on top burnt orange on bottom double bunny on a size 4 4X long hook for the back attached to pretty much the same double bunny up front with some big dumbell eyes and a big spun and trimmed olive sculpin wool head. add things like flash and rubber legs as see fit.

oh, and if you can find a dead sculpin to rub it all over before you fish, hang on!

Don't you know? Eric is the next Kelly Galloup. Without the horrible fly names. :)

In the blogosphere a Sex Dungeon is a helluva lot sexier than rubbing a dead sculpin on your monster streamer. :) The results speak for themselves though and it's sure cool seeing the fish photos. I bet you've put quite a lot of time into figuring out the Yakima.

Who said anything about the Yakima? That fish has Rocky Ford written all over it. :)

You'll have to come try some of those streamers over here this fall. My favorite time to throw meat. We can go for the area slam. Brook, bow, brown, and cutt all over twenty.

I have a pair of yellow shorts with different types of nigiri all over them that really works wonders for me. Like your style.
