Basic Red Fly

    More of a 'template' fly than a really distinct pattern. Thus, the I just call it the "BRF". I've also got a "BPF" and a "BOF"...

    One thing that is a little different - the thorax is a full strand of Lagurtun floss which has a round profile that has been split and very lightly dubbed with seal. I then twist it into a rope along with 5 strands of UV Minnow Belly flash material. It ends up with a nice effect. THe second photo shows it a little better.
