Today is the first time in couple of weeks that the temps will be above freezing. Yesterday was a balmy 27 and my wife and I enjoyed it.

Starting today the temp will rise to a high of 38 and then go to 40+ for the rest of the week. Potentially 2 weeks of this and some good winds might just get the ice off the little lakes for March 1st.

I rather enjoyed NOT shoveling snow yesterday! Looking forward to launching my pram in the street tomorrow . . .

Maybe. It depends on the wind forecast. Temp on Monday is said to be 47 degrees. I won't know until Sunday night as I'll be over your ways at the Lynnwood fly expo, returning on Sunday.

I'm hearing a strange sound from outside. It sounds like dripping from snow melting on the roof and gutters.:)

Wet & warm here, also. I was able to wade out safely & retrieve the paper, however. Spooked a couple carp in the yard . . .

    Home Page:

It was well over 50 degrees and sunny in Wenatchee. Perfect day. We missed the wind. Must have gone right over the top.

I was going to make a trip out to the basin tomorrow, but need to "work". Maybe Saturday with all the crowds.

my forecast: fish are eagerly taking scuds drifted under an indicator or hard takes chasing down stripped buggers

Today is another forecast of wind and temps to 50 degrees. Looks like tomorrow I'll do a drive-by at some lakes to check for (lack of) ice. You Lenice guys will have to interpolate the data as I'm not headed that far.

Lenice should be fine. It is at a lower elevation and tends to warm faster than the higher elevation lakes up by George and Moses.
