I had a few hours to hit one of my favorite lakes today for a few hours before house painting duty.
Fishing was pretty good. Lots of pre- spawn activity with pairs of fish cruising around in the shallows.

With next weeks full moon and predicted warm weather the spawn should be on. I did see one fish on a bed.
All the fish came on a braided Midnight Fire chenille worm with a black marabou tail.

The biggest fish was probably 3.5 lbs. It was fun seeing on fish watch the worm drop then inhale with its gills flared as it hit the bottom.

Here are a few pics from today.

NICE! I can't wait to hit the lakes around Rome, they're full of transplanted bass and are a load of fun to catch on a bamboo rod.

    Thanks for the pics,
    Kenneth
