Just got back from Douglas Lake Ranch. I fished Salmon Lake a couple of days. First two day s the wind was blowing 40+ mph. Dead calm every morning though and the fish gods shome down on me. I much into the c-mid game, but they are having a late year and the fishing is a couple of weeks behind so the trout are still keyed in on the chiros. I went dead slow and caught 4 in the three pound range.....what a fight!. A well presented carey special and leeches were the ticket near the bottom. Word has it the lakes are beginning to taper off the c-mids and move into the usual table fare for June. I only saw one adult damsel and dragon fly the whole time.

    I hope this helps:thumb:
