TLDR: Mainly interested in this gear checklist to get out and explore the rivers (Cedar, Sno/Sky to start)...check bottom of post! Or read everything Spent a good 20+ hours now reading and searching these forums and google in terms of what to expect and what I'm getting myself into. I have never fished around here so all I'm asking is for the smallest of the kicks in the rear on where to start. I don't want to know your own secret holes that you covet, I'm looking forward to exploring on my own. I just literally know 0 spots to park/hike from/explore. One of my bigger concerns is parking, access, and where to leave your car... Snoqualmie is about 40 minutes from me, and it seems the Foss/Miller are about 70 minutes which are both acceptable drives for me. So yea: wheres a good place to start my Seattle-based fly fishing experience (from what I've gathered, sno, foss, miller, sky are all pretty good so thats where I think I'm headed first)? Also what other gear should I invest in? At the end of the day, all I'm really after is some nice weather and the potential of some trout bites.
