Hi, will be in Bellingham to meet son and his new fiance. Both want to fish for SRCs and cohos if possible. Are there any beaches in the area that might be productive at that time of the year. Thanks in advance - I have to impress the young lady.

by october you will want to be fishing the river for SRC's. And you can find a few kings, bulls, and early coho

You could try anywhere from Point Whitehorn to Sandy Point, or along the beach south of town, I've caught scr's in the nookie, squalicum, whatcom and the samish so you know their around, silvers too.

Just stick with what your son tells you. I heard he knows all the hot spots and will bring you to them if you stock his fridge while you're visiting with beer. That, and help him and his fiance with home upgrades.
