On page 194 of John Larison's book, The Complete Steelheader, is a photo of a BH Hefty Bitch Creek Nymph. Can anyone identify the shaggy red/orange/yellow material dubbed on the thorax area?

Not familiar with the specific pattern or the book. Got a pic?

Most Bitch Creeks are tied with chenille.

it appears to me to be what I have called rubber band hackle, I got it from Angler's Workshop a while ago. I did not find it on their website now though. It is like having a lot of rubber, such as centipede legs, in a dubbing wire.
