Looks like a Sunday for me since that is my only day off... Is anyone in the area that Bob lives? Looks like he needs a ride.

Mine go in the mail this morning. This is the only fly we ever used in the Oreion rivers and estuaries. It did so well we never had to change. I wish my tying was better but they'er close enough. Good luck to all!

Got mine in the mail today. Line was out the door at the post-office (grrrrr) so I slapped $4.50 worth of first-class stamps on the small padded envelope and dropped it in the slot. Hope that'll get it there.

I've got two more to tie and will probably finish them tomorrow, apply a dab of head cement and decide if I'm mailing them or bringing them in person.

    Tail to head:
Rear diachi salmon hook, snelled to 25# chart mono
Chart Maribou in a dubbing loop.
Chart Maribou in a dubbing loop.
More chart maribou in a dubbing loop.
three chart plastic beads...yes stewart dee, I said freaking beads, along the mono articulation
    On the 25mm waddington:
Chart Maribou in a dubbing loop.
Chart Maribou in a dubbing loop.
Black Maribou in a dubbing loop.
(I'm kind of sick of maribou in dubbing loops but the thread reinforces the maribou better than just palmering it alone.)

Grrr. Dropped the (&*&^ing envelope off at the downtown post-office with $4.50 in first class postage for a 5oz package and it hasn't made it to Everett in two days. I'll spare everyone the rest of the rant but seriously....

Keep me posted. If they don't show up let me know and I'll try to tie up another batch and get them there one way or another.

So back on the discussion of the 24th...what time is this proposed meeting of the chum-minded? Afternoon or evening would be best for me but I can be flexible if I have to. Gotta plan these things out when you got a little dude around the house!

If some would like to meet on the river this will be an afternoon deal I would think? I am OK with a stretch on the Sky mid -afternoon, meet up at All About the Fly. Someone will need to use a gift certificate anyway..... good place to start since it will be close to fish. (anyone can meet us there involved in the trade or not).
