    This pattern is immensly popular all over Scotland, but especially in the North where it is indispensable for rivers in low water conditon. The pattern has been equally good for me on Northwest Steelies. Simple, but effective.

    Thread - black
    Tag and Underlayment - Flat Silver
    Body - Alec jackson Japanese Silk, Crimson
    Rib - Small Oval Silver
    Hackle - black
    Wing - Black Squirrel
