Sounds good guys.
The poppers are on the way.
Flys are on their way. I put a few extra in there for being so kind to be part of this swap last minute.
Still working... The flatwings are a little time consuming. Will be in the mail by the weekend to meet the deadline.
I got out for a couple of hours today and fished at Eglon with a Cone Head Squid.
Managed to land 5 resident coho and LDRed 5 others. I hope the ones I submitted for the swap produce as well for you guys as they do for me.
Sounds like this swap may be on time.
North Sounder, looks like you had a good day, I cant wait to try the fly out next time I am out.
Finished my flies. I will have them in the mail early next week.
my flies got in the mail this morn
excited to see the collection
we need to have a small derby to test these suckers out
thanks again Clint
Mine will go out tomorrow via USPS Priority.
There are several extras in slightly different sizes & materials for your trouble. Let me know if they fish, especially the big one.
Again, I would like to thank everyone who participated in this swap. It looks like we will meet the deadline and all the flies so far are excellent. Let me know if you will be a little late. Thanks again.
OK. I have everyones but Connors. I will give you 2 more days Connor. I am not going to wait much longer.
They were mailed 6 days ago from renton. They should have been there about 3 ago.
You atre one lucky SOB. I got them this morning and they are being mailed out tomorrow.
I want to thank everyone for such a great swap. I cant wait to go try them tomorrow.
Just keep the epoxy fish for yourself since I kinda screwed up the last swap... They DO catch fish just to let ya know! The best part is the crazy coho action on the little pink things! Freakin' rule when fished on an intermediate line and about a 6-7 foot 10# leader\tippet.
right on guys
new flies+new beaches = good times
if anyone is out on the kp this weekend slide me a pm
got some new spots to try
I got the flies on Friday and went to Doc's and Purdy excited to try them. I only saw 2 fish total jump. And was "told" that a gear fisherman caught one. I am sure that the sea lion swimming up and down the beach helped. Anyone else have any luck?
Thanks for organizing the swap Clint!
I just wanted to thank you for hosting this swap.
Unfortunately I had to crew up on a tug boat for my month hitch before they
showed up in the mail and wont
be able to fish any of them for a while. When I do get home for my month off
I'll be able to fish the hell outa my new flies.
Thanks also to all the guys that participated. My wife emailed me a picture of
them and they look great.
I posted directions on how to tie my fly for this swap in the Patterns sub-forum:
