Hunted yesterday morning here in Northern California and was lucky enough to get what will probably be my last California deer. I'm moving to the Spokane area in March or before. This one was a 4X3 and after I finished processing it I was able to grab the fly rod and fish a local stream for some easy planters. Great day all in all.
Good looking buck. While maybe your last California deer, surely not your last deer. Lots to chase around Spokane, though they obviously won't be blacktail.
thats a great looking blacktail. congrats. you're moving to what i consider one of the best outdoor areas of our state hunting-wise. lots of opportunity in the northeast. fear not!!
