I bought a few rainshadow kits, they are rx7 9', 5wt, 3pc blanks . I spined them the same way and all components down the the thread are the same. I just had a short opportunity to cast them before sending them off. They both cast fine and true but one of the rods seemed faster and had a little more backbone? Anyone else experience something like this? Not sure if this would be common in less expensive blanks or something I did?

All the Rx7's that I have built 6 green & 9 matte have been really consistent, that is why I tend to go for the Rx7. The only difference I have felt is going from OG Green to Matte. It might be you found the lucky one that made it past the inspection. If you the same grip, guides, thread, finish then it has to be the blank.
