Imma git up hella early tomorrow and see if I walk one up. If you see me on a bar, stop and say hi, I'll be the guy casting flies into his own skull.

Also, I'm not ashamed, check it:

There's no way you can borrow a boat or something.

I'm tying up a care package for danieloceans upcoming trip for no other reason than I'm tired of hearing about him not catching a steelhead.
If only all this nonsense could have been contained in a single ridiculously long thread, we wouldn't have it clogging up the steelhead forum
Oh well, maybe some fancy flies will put an end to it once and for all. IMAG0364.jpg IMAG0352.jpg IMAG0361.jpg IMAG0353.jpg

I've only floated a toon once (last week), and I weren't on the oars, prolly shouldn't be floating anyone else's money JUST yet. I'll wreck my own boat first, naw'msayin?

If I start a bunch of threads and start clogging up the forum will you tie me some of those, too?

Floating is overrated. I'd rather bank it and have the option to quit when it gets hot.

Overheard a conversation on the river yesterday about how a guy pulled a 23" bull trout from the sultan. It was, apparently, "good eatin".

Then I picked a a full trashbag's worth of bottles, cans, clothing, mono, and other assorted crap from the gravel bar downstream. #yolo

Is that char dead? Eye position sorta' looks like it. Not that his fingers in its gills caused any problem or anything. A few people keep char on the Skagit. Not sure if it's legal anywhere else.

Any fish within 100 yards of his boat dies from exposure to excessive awesomeness.

Fuckin' just thought of this. Since that fly has nightmare-jig colors, I am dubbing it... THE TERRORFLY.

BUM BUM BUMMMmmmmalright. I'm bored, deal with it.

As much as it flatters me to get a mention from you on such a prestigious website, I cant take any credit for the bull trout slaying. Thanks though.

Oh man you guys, I roped the heck out of some BC chrome today! Check out this little sweetheart:

    DSCN0903.JPG

It's not huge, but it put up quite a tussle! This was a special fish, too, because the wifey was paddling me around the lake that I caught it from and she was very excited. Keep after it, Dan!
