We are thinking of a last week foray to Brewster/Pateros in search of some diver duck hunting. Any help with logistics would much appreciated. We have no idea where to go or set up and the area is huge. I have hunted upland birds in the area in years past. Thank you in advance, kl

We did a hunt with Okanogan Guide Service two weeks ago. Lots of divers flying around and we got a few. (15 for 4 guys) If you are on your own, you probably need a boat. You may be able to walk in somewhere along the Bridgeport Bar, but need to scout that in advance. Guided might be the best way for the first time, or scouting with a boat and GPS.
