Broken reel part - Sage 1401

    I have a broken reel seat (?) on a Sage 1401 reel (see photos). photo 1.JPG photo 2.JPG

    Wondering if anyone out there has any spare parts for this reel..?

    Contact Sage and see if they still have parts for that reel. All they cant tell you is a yes or a no.

    It wasn't that exciting. My 3-year old son loves playing with my fly gear. He breaks a lot of things and looses even more.

    Man, put your gear out of his reach. These aren't toys for small boys. My brother thought it was cute that his girls were playing with his gear, until they started dragging it down the street. Then he gave in and let them ruin the rest of it. No little kids touch what is mine. They could get their fingers broke.

    Jim is sooooo sensitive. HAHAHAHAHA.

    I would start with Sage. I dropped my SA reel and broke the foot.
    Called them and another was in the mail the next day. Looks like a
    quick fix with the right parts.
