Going to a river that has Browns and brookies, added this one to my streamer box tonight and thought I would share. Hopefully It'll get attacked by some almost as colorful pre-spawn browns. IMG_8392.JPG

went up today, river was low and super clear. I walked up to the edge and saw a couple nice ones scatter. Too slow for big streamers, so I ended up tossing nymphs. Got bored and hit up the Yak on the way home and got one solid take on a crawdad, then after casting a while longer I called it a day. I guess I'll keep this one tucked away for a special occasion.
You might try to fish the lake from a pontoon to seal the deal on a brown this year. I still have not gotten a hold of a nice one yet, Although I've only been to a couple of places in which they reside. Better luck next year I guess.
