Anyone get their flies yet?
They are being held ransom until this rain stops!! Nah, but really they were supposed to go out on tuesday but some dead president closed all the p.o's. and I work during the time any of them are open. So without a doubt they are going out in the AM tomorrow.
I tied an extra dozen to cover some guys one of the guys we lost, and I also grabbed another dozen right from my winter boxes to cover the other guy we lost in the swap.
Hopefully some of us will actually get the chance to use them soon.
Anyone have a camera that will take pics up close for the swap gallery?
I'll take photos if you want me to.
just got em'!.......the flies look really nice, great selection
Yeah, sweet looking flies. Now, just curious, did we not get one of our own back? I'm only asking because I don't want to have screwed anyone over. Anyway, nice looking flies, maybe they'll work in my cul-de-sac...
Willie, I sent one of the extra sets of flies off to scoones, the other extra's I will end up giving to some group (flyclub/boyscouts) that need them, say for a raffle or auction.
Well worth the wait these bugs are money! Sorry I forgot to toe tag mine but they are the white string leeches with the egg stinger. Good stuff boys :beer2:
Ibn's egg broke while I was fishing it on Saturday...
Hold on for about thirty minutes and photos will be up.
This Was a "Quality Swap"! Flies are already Breaking!!!
Can't wait to see mine when I get back to WA.
I've seen you cast, it was bound to happen.
Speaking of the Quality aspect of this swap. If anyone has any "malfunction" with any of the flies I tied in the next couple years. Send it back to me and I'll replace it with 3.
I will not Guarantee my flies if they fall apart becasue you catch too many fish on them!
All the flies look awesome! Good Work.
Well I'll give my kudos to backyard any day, he tied up to extra sets which I believe some expense judging by the material. Unlike mine they seem to be bulletproof. So a toast to the yard for a great swap.
So Spansh fly did white string leeches with the egg stinger...which egg is ibn's? And who had the other? Good stuff Yard!
Both eggs are Ibn's, trying to spread his progeny a little further...
I did both the single eggs. They do break, but not that often, I've probably broken a a dozen in 2 years.
