I ran across this and thought I would post it. I wonder if this is the "A River Runs Through It" for hunting? http://eatocracy.cnn.com/2012/03/16/the-hunger-games-bucks-hunter-stereotypes/?hpt=ea_mid&hpt=hp_c2
Thanks, Karl! There's a young lady who is enjoying her heritage. Recipe sounds good too . . . I may have to go Turkey hunting after all.
You're right Roper-the arrow is not in any arrow rest-either her hand or the bow. The draw hand is not anchored anywhere. Definitely not a real picture of someone about to shoot a bow! Rick
I have a self made Osage flat bow and shoot off of my hand. Have taken a boar and a few wt does with it. in this case looks CGI. a lot of anti hunting comments in this article.
Yeah, there's a ton of stuff wrong, beginning with no anchor point, illegal hunting point, etc, etc. But Hey-made for TV, where if you have shit for brains you're destined to be a producer or director.
skimming through the anti-comments, it's clear that those who hold that opinion are 1) complete morons; 2) have never passed a simple biology class; 3) are in love with their long-cherished stereotypes; and 4) see#1 above. I've always wondered if these twits get their nourishment by photosynthesis, kinda like the "air fern"?
