I fished Campbell Lake on Saturday from 9-11. The water was its typical murky dark color and about 74 degrees on the surface. There were four other anglers using spin rods and lures during the first hour. They indicated that fishing was sporadic during the morning before I got there. Fishing was consistent for the first hour and then it slowly turned off in the last hour. Fish size was consistently in the 15 - 18" range and were a healthy size. The lake is a nice small size and usually doesn't get a lot of traffic. The weather was dry and hot. (There is no shade on the lake.) Wind was calm during the morning hours.

I've fished Campbell a few times and have always had good luck. It sure is a small lake. I think I may be able to cast across it if the wind is right. :) Kirk

I agree. It has consistently fished well and it's small enough to be able to cover lots of areas.
