I'm seeing quite a few nice carp caught by members of this website. Any tips on flies that carp seem to like? I don't know too much about the feeding habits of carp other than they eat a lot of different crap. I recently took a new job and moved from trout country to carp country. I'm not too pumped about it but figured I'd give it a shot.

There was a carp fly swap on this forum a while back, check the gallery under swaps, I think you'll find some good examples.

I have picked them up on brown wolly buggers sitting on the bottom, then just twitched a little, on stoneflies, and on pt nymphs.

I've done okay using the same technique as Teeg, but with a San Juan Worm.

Olive seal buggers and Clouser's swimming nymphs. Size 8 seems to work fine.

Thanks for all the help. That's a great article by Mr. Meyers. Looking forward to giving it a shot.
