Cast a line for trophy trout with Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation

    Join us on a full day trip to a private, trophy rainbow trout fishery from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 or Sept. 19. We’ll spend the day casting a fly to willing, eager and trophy size rainbow trout! This trip includes full transportation, all the gear (donated by Rajeff Sports), and a quick instruction on the basics of casting a fly rod. The rest of the day is yours to chase the big fish! All you need is a lunch and a camera! Meet at Firstenburg Community Center, 700 N.E. 136th Ave., Vancouver, WA.
    Cost is $90 for either day.

    is it gonna be on a river or lake, and are waders and anything needed?

    It is going to be on a private P\pay to play fishery... near Olympia.

    no waders are needed, but you can bring em.
    no gear is needed.
    no license is needed.


    and our group (I have spots for 10 anglers) will have the only access to the place all day.
