Cats and Feather Dusters

  1. Consider this an update to "Cats and Bucktails." Again, the cat has done her thing, except that I think I might have imprinted another unexpected item when I switched to pestering my cat with an ostrich feather duster. I originally bought the duster for the dun color and price for the sheer volume of feather, but found that the cat likes it too. Well, anyway, this morning the cat came in with a dead sparrow of some kind. The small feathers I found strewn all over the bedroom floor next to my side of the bed were also a grey-dun color. Yes, I did collect some of them before breaking out the vacuuum cleaner--there was no way I could have kept the bird with my girlfriend looking on.
