I would like to thank all our members, volunteers, donors and sponsors. We look forward to an amazing event this weekend. It is through this support and generosity that we will continue protecting our precious marine resources for future generations.

I'm going to try and make it if I can juggle the family obligations. I bought a ticket in any case.

Perhaps next year it might be a good idea to schedule it some other time than Mother's Day weekend.

Many of us have wives/mothers who don't consider "a night at the fishing banquet" to be acceptable as a mom's day tribute.

Josh, we have noted it and are exploring our options for 2010.

I know you are. I posted this before I stated the same opinion at the "post banquet" wrapup meeting the other day.
