    Hey Reel,
Where you going to fish? I can meet you there, and we'll share a scotch, or some four twenty.

I'll be there on the 11th.

Hmmm, I wish I knew the mile post. I usually fish off the bike path in a few spots in the lower area. I am really showing a buddy the river who wants to pontoon it.

He has an HD camera and we have been documenting bugs, flies, fish and with the underwater housing the release as well. Hopefully for a future video.

PM me. I'll bring my scotch as well:thumb:

I tried to take a picture of the Moosesack last night, but when I goot too close, the sucker kicked and nearly knocked the camera out of my hands.

    No, that was funny!

Yes you can, the Cedar has mayfly hatches, and caddis. Stick with the basics, nymphs, Adams,Elk hair caddis etc.

Fished the Ceed again today. Reelucky you are totally on the right page with the "drag and drift"...crazy but effective. iagree I've done the best for the bigger fish with large Crane Fly imitations skittered through bigger water and under overhanging brush. Fish on.

I don't know if there have been any fishing-related break ins yet this year, but I can pretty much guarantee that there will be.

There is lots of access. Study some maps, draw some circles on it and go explore them. There are roads and trails all along the river.

Pick a bridge. Park near it and huff it down to the river :) ... lots of access to chose from.

    Daniel-

To some extent, but the Yakima has many more fishable hatches than the Cedar, and for those which do occur in both rivers, they would likely occur a couple weeks earlier on the Yakima, and with much more density.

My rig was broekn into!!!. Saw the guy leaving the scene! Dark blue hoodie with scrufffy beard. Total Meth Head. Do not park down the road just east of Jones Road bridge. It is a county access lot with concrete bariiers. Meth Heads walk the trail looking for people parked there. This was at apx 11:45 in broad daylight! We just happend to get back right as he smashed the window and took off. As a result nothing was stolen.

It sucks, especialy after a wonderful time on the river. I called the King County Sherif, but not much will happen unless we all make sure to call when crap goes down. Leave your goods at home and roll down the windows!

Bring your grandpa with you and have him read a book sitting on the hood of your vehicle while you're fishing. If this doesn't immediately work, give him 2 weeks, some muscle milk, and whey protein. Try it again. You may be pleasantly surprised. Guess who I'm going to call tomorrow :beer2:

Just don't park in the five places everyone tells you to park, why do you think all the tweekers only hit those areas? Put an exrta four bucks in your tank and drive up and down both sides of the river. There are a ton of other good access points. Or come fish it with me, and if you seem cool and honest, I will show you some upriver access. But if it shows up on here I will be the tweeker slashing your tires with a sharpened toothbrush......tweeked out on Diet Pepsi and Jolly ranchers! ;)

Naw...no booze or Mtn Dew these days. Pretty much just water and coffee. I guess I could be guilty of thinking the meth heads are nothing here coming from Spokompton and all.
