Coho Pattern

  1. I thought I'd share the fly I got 2 silvers on this weekend. I don't do near as much fly fishing as most people that love tying flies as much as me but this pattern has served me well when I do break out the whip. I named it Soldotna years ago.
    Tail: pale pink marabou
    Body: Pink sparkle chenille
    Rib: Med. flat silver tinsel
Hackle: red saddle hackle long and tyed down or tie as throat
    Wing: purple marabou
Overwing: 10 strands of peral krystal flash
  2. Nice, its got a little bit of everything. How do you fish it?
  3. Fished on the swing with a 10 ft. sink tip.
  4. Tht's a nice looking fly. Should be productive.
