I'm officially on the search for a new rig. Searching for a Toyota Tundra Double Cab or possibly a Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. 2002-2007. Let me know if you know of any clean vehicles that need a new home. Thanks-
If you can get the Tundra-they are used a lot in the oil patches in Northern BC and stand up much better than domestic-only complaint i have heard is that they are a bit smaller-I have ford F-350 4x4 but will buy a Tundra when they make a bigger truck re my camper/boat etc.My 2 cents
I hear ya, had a 1998 Tacoma that was "bomber"- currently driving a 1999 Silverado Extra cab- work truck (manual & rubber floors). This Chevy has been a gem, with 217 k and still rolling it is the only reason I consider a Chevrolet. My wife likes the idea of a little "smaller" truck so I'm leaning toward the tundra too.
Come to think of it, any body need a Chevy work truck? The price will be right, it has high miles but does have a lot of current work done to take it into the next "century". 4x4, manual, extra cab(3 doors), dings, scratches, a little rust... like I said the price will be right.
There is a clean burgundy quad Tundra for sale here on Whidbey. If it is still there I will snap a couple photos and shoot them to you....
Not sure why you would want a Toy-ota or a Chevy when a Ford will be towing them both in tandem to the shop.... All kidding aside, I have heard multiple negative complaints about the Tundra and its overall pulling capacity, quality, gas milage etc. in the newer models (post 2010)
