Dan Craft 5wt

Anyone out there want to build me a 9' 5wt. 4pc. Dan craft FT. I would love to do it myself, but just don't have time and ice off is just around the corner up here in BC.

I'll be building a Dan Craft 9'6" 6wt 4pc. Sig V or the 5wt Sig V within the next couple weeks. This winter I built a 9' 7wt. 4 pc FT (907-4 FT). Are you building the Sig V or FT? The 7wt. FT is a really fast powerful rod and could throw a 10 weight line without breaking a sweat.

I would encourage you to try building it yourself. If you can tie a fly you can build a rod. You don't really need any special tools. http://flyfisherman.com/rodbuilding//index2.html

My favorite rod. So good that I have two. Both are built up with SF ceramics.

Thanks for all the interest. My local shop owner has talked me into building the rod myself with him overseeing the build. Who knows, I might get into this building your own thing. It sounds like it can get addicting.
