I like seen threads like this! Just remember not to push it, encourage it by getting her own gear. I build rods and if you need help with it let me know. I would be happy to build ( at no cost )or help you build it. Mike
Here's a pic of my daughter right around 3rd grade (she's a freshman in college now). Time goes by pretty damned fast. She always loved fishing.
Way to go Charles! She's lucky to such a great dad! Let me know next time you guys come over. We can fish together for a bit and show her that some women fish instead of hanging at the mall!
That would be great. I will be sure to do that. There's always a chance to pop over 20 in the fall. I just wish it'd open sooner so the nights and mornings weren't so cold for her. Having said that we may fish in BC at the end of March. If she can do that then she should be OK for he east side in the fall. She'll spend most of the summer salmon fishing in the islands hopefully too. She seems to like the boat well enough. She can always read in the boat. As long as she has a book she's content. SalmoG had her reel in a sockeye last summer, this year maybe a king? Then theres her little sister................................ The little one seems to have her mothers genetics. Go Sox, cds
