Took my little dog out for her first fishing trip today. It was a serious pain in the ass, but we had fun. I'm probably fishing solo tomorrow. Caught some really nice cutthroats!

my dog was a serious pain in the ass for what seemed like a long time; now there is no creature I'd rather fish with and fishing with him is way better than fishing without him.

They love being out with us. Considering the joy they bring to us, a little pain in the drain seems a small price to pay. Great pictures.

Not sure what kind of dog she is. She lived on my girlfriend's uncle's ranch in Yakima for a few years, and we adopted her the weekend the Seahawks beat the Niners in the NFC Championship game. So she's good luck mixed with maybe corgi and pomeranian.
