A recent report by the Evening Hatch mentioned brown trout caught in an eastern washington stream. Anyone know what stream they are fishing (and willing to tell!)?;-)

I saw that too. In fact, Evening Hatch included a photograph entitled "Desert Hog" in the weekly report, featuring a gorgeous brown. An amazing fish.

If anyone could share any hints, tips or clues, I'd be grateful. If you don't want to post online, just pop me an e-mail. I've got a few potential info trades that you might find interesting.

    Tight lines,

I agree with another posted message, the Kettle River. Seems that I found this thread in a WDFW site.

Dont' forget about the Spokane River. Not quite desert, but at least it's east.

It was not the Kettle, although there are a few brown hogs there, they tend to be a bit spooky as well. Good luck!:AA
