Eric requested I post my Popsicle Stick fly that I use for sea run cutthroat and coho. I do some modifications (not shown here) for coho. It is a simple fly, yet effective. It can also be tied with epoxied eyes or stinger style. Size 6 for cutthroat and 4 for salmon. Note that the wings are tied and pulled to the "upside" of the hook leaving the lower front half of the body exposed.

    Hook: Daiichi 2546
Thread: Florescent Hot Pink-Ultra Thread #70
    Body: Florescent Hot Pink thread
Tail: Grayish-white or white Arctic Fox
Overtail: Electric Shrimp pink Angel Hair
Rear upper wing: Hot Pink Polymarabou, bucktail or squirrel tail
Middle wing: Medium or light pink bucktail or squirrel tail
Overwing: Chartruese squirrel tail or bucktail

Nice job Larry, thanks for the SBS. I can personally vouch for how awesome this fly is on the beach. I'll be tying up some more soon.

Pink and chartruese are colors of the patterns that work the best for me when it comes to catching steelhead so I like that one a lot!
