    Yes sad. Doc Watson is one of those I listen to often on the way to Curtis Creek to wet a fly, and puts me in a good place. He left a tremendous legacy.

    In his 89 years, he gave us much to be thankful for. We were lucky to have him for so long.

    Doc Watson, the man & his music were such an inspiration to so many people, in so many ways. I used to sit on the porch a pick until way after dark. Could no longer see a thing. Just pick, try to be one with your instrument, feel the music, and make it happen. Just like Doc would have. RIP Doc.
