    One of three versions from the Fishing Gazette, this is the snow fly.

    Tied on 3/0 Gaelic Supreme dee hook.

    Some wont like the hackle (perhaps to thick at the body). I was experimenting with whiting spey hackles, and used three. Two from the ribs and one at the collar, tied in by the base of the feather. I think in future i'll tie them from the tip.

    Anyways.

    my first dee. I'd have liked to have done strip wings, but didnt have cinnamon turkey.

    NIce one Eunan!! I really like some of these simpler patterns I'm seeing. Something a little different. Good job!
