Brought my switch to the lake for the first time this weekend. It was amazing. Going to be my main lake rod now. Roll casting the dual leech rig was a breeze even with 20ft leader. Avoiding false casting avoids tangles so you are fishing much more during the day. Maybe it was a fluke but my bobber down to hookup ratio skyrocketed while using it.... I'm sure the extra length helps with this?

I used my switch recently at Omak Lake. It was nice for throwing big streamers and indicators but since most the fish were quite close to shore it was overkill.

Just saw Geroge Cook on youtube demonstrating lake fishing with a switch rod. He really shows some great uses on lakes with the switchie. Hope this helps.
