    Yes, and...

Yes. I'm still on the fence about making the bash. Want to, but kitchen passes for possible epic drunken douchfoolery versus possible fishing are tough to balance. I don't get enough free passes, but I'm still working on one for this event. I want to hand mine to Rob, just in case I can't make the road trip.

I have all to hand except Whit, Stilly Stalker, and Dustin Bise (who should be handing his over tomorrow). I will bring all that I have to the Radish Bash if people want theirs, with the remainder to follow when I have them. For anyone not going I will hold them until all flies are in.

Still waiting for Whit, Stilly Stalker, and Dustin Bise's flies. I know the story on some of them, and some of the delay was the long weekend. As soon as I have them in hand the remainder are ready to by shipped out.

As you may or may not know, my car broke down on the way to the raddishbash where i was gonna give the flies to rob. I wasn't sure how he wanted to procede at that point so I held onto them instead of mailing then out monday (thought he might have wanted to get the others out ASAP. I know some of you are itchin for the flies so I let rob send them out. and leave you guys with a recipe instead. sorry for the cluster****.

the egg eating worm sucking leech, designed to fish dead drift with a swing out at the end

First, start thread on a egg hook (size 6 or 4).
Cut a strand of t-11 to twice the length of the desired fly.
Secure one end of the t-11 to the egg hook
tie in a glow bug, then when secure in the chenille just infront of the glowbug and finish the fly (whip or half hitches)

now, take that out of our vice and put in a size 4/6 streamer hook or a shank.
secure the front end of the t-11 to the hook and bring the thread back to the ben.
add lead if u want a faster sinking fly at this point

    this is the tricky step.

with your left hand grab the glowbug and pull till the t14 becomes tight (if u have two vices then i would use a second to make this step easy)
with your right hand grab the chenille and while keeping the t-11 tight wrap the chenille tightly forward to the bend of your streamer hook and secure/halfhitch it in.

now take a small piece of crosscut rabbit and wrap a collar (2 turns)
in front of the collar tie in 2 more turns of chenille (use a slightly different color for this step, i think green is best)
    then a collar of hackle
and finally 2 more wraps of your original chenille color and finish off the fly

Stilly's flies bounced back to him for a second time. He will next-day mail them tomorrow, so they should arrive on Monday. This will delay shipping until Tuesday but he asks that I wait.
