Tough fishing.
Bobber-watching was the key--8-9' deep, tiny flies. Picked up a Tiger, two browns, and a couple of 'bows.
Caught my largest fish--20" RB-- on a parachute gnat.
Second largest was caught on a brown bunny leech (bead head) in the cliff area.
Rain and wind on Friday, sunny and breezy on Saturday, and absolutely gorgeous on Sunday.
I'll be trying again in May.
Of note: saw no swimming damsel nymphs like I usually do this time of year. Also, callabaetis were very few, and very light, even white, in color. With that said, we did see a few adult damsels.
