Dry Falls' weather forecast for next Sunday & Monday is starting to look very nice. Anyone going? I'm planning to go if I can get everything over the Pass.

Won't be able to make it until the week of April 23-26. Will be good to hear some reports.

I am planning on being there with Rod and maybe his son. Hopefully my new boat will arrive as I sold all my other boats. Or maybe Scott has room for me in his Walker Bay.

    Looking forward to reports with
all the dirty details. It seemed like last
year the fish were a bit smaller than
previous years with a few toads to be had.
    Good luck.

Fat chance, Wayne! I be in the Outcast this trip.

I'm getting that Walker all set up. Sanded the rough spots - not too bad, put in Scotty anchor pulls and now have to mount a seat. Next is the walk in shower, BBQ, stove and porta potty.

Looking forward to the trip. Jesse, it would be a pleasure to meet you.

Wayne, that'll be a great way to break in a new boat; hope it gets there in time. (If not, I've got a Super Fat Cat I could easily bring - let me know if you'll need it - not a big deal for me to bring it.) Looking forward to meeting everyone. I'll be camping at the State Park in an old Boler fiberglass egg traveling man-cave and fishing out of an Outcast PAC 800. Hope the weather holds: the forecast has sure been bouncing around. Looking forward to see how big all those smaller (11-13") fish from last year have grown.

I'll be there monday and tuesday. Work gets in the way for the sunday opener. Hope it fishes as good as it was last year!. Lots of fish in shallow water.

DISCOVER PASS, required or not ? Since Dry Falls is part of Sun Lakes state park I assume you'll need a Discover Pass. I know a lot of people are holding off until the Gov. signs the bill which will allow 2 vehicles on same permit. Overnight campers in the park are exempt, but this sure needs a lot of clarification. Each entrance to Lenore state Discover required but I understand the vehicle access given with fishing license is good.

It'll be a float tube hatch just like every other year. I'll be fishing somewhere but not there. If anyone wants to hit Rufus sat before let me know.

Last year I was with Scott and Troutmaster and it really wasn't crowded on the opener at all. (and it was sunny that day too!) Can't make it this year however. Rick
